Job Description

Drexel Industries is searching for an experienced 3rd Party Logistics Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team within London, Ontario.

Reporting to the Director of 3PL Sales, the ideal candidate will have previous outbound sales experience and will focus on selling 3PL services to the following types of businesses:

  • Ecommerce,
  • Marketplaces dropshippers (Walmart.ca, Bestbuy.ca, Homedepot.ca, and etc.).
  • Amazon Sellers (FBM and FBA).
  • Wholesale distributors, and B2B.

The successful candidate will

  • Develops new business opportunities through cold calling into new prospect accounts.
  • Generates and follow-up on sales leads in a timely manner.
  • Provides customer service, evaluate the customer’s needs, and answer questions regarding parts, pricing, product availability, and services.
  • Develops new business opportunities through cold calling into new prospect accounts.
  • Acts as an intermediary between customers and Operations to on-board customers to the Drexel platform.
  • Conducts post sale follow up (call customers to ensure they are happy and satisfied with Drexel’s service.).
  • Utilizes superior product knowledge to create quotes for customers.
  • Identifies areas of improvement and assist in creating and implementing solutions. Keep up to date on industry trends and new and exciting products.
  • Performs regular price comparisons to competitors.
  • Travels to tradeshow.
  • Healthy inbound lead and access to Zoom info prospecting tool.

Qualifications:

  • College or University degree.
  • Proven track record in outbound sales and 3PL E-Commerce order fulfilment.
  • Over 3 years of proven third-party logistics (3PL Sales) experience with a focus on E-Commerce order fulfilment.
  • Experience in using Microsoft CRM, Zoom info, MS Teams.
  • Brings with them a generated book of business.
  • Consistently meeting deadlines within a fast paced work environment and works effectively within time constraints.
  • Able to conduct a very high volume of outbound calls to prospect and grow customer base.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to exceed expectations with minimal supervision.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to “think outside of the box. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter, tactfully relentless and disciplined, as well as a Team Player.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team member.
  • Outgoing personality and customer are first mentality.
  • Perform all job duties in compliance with Drexel’s policies and health and safety standards.

What Drexel offers you as a team member

Base salary: $80,000 OTE + residual commissions.
